Not sure how many of you with aluminum roofs has used this product before but here is a ltitle write up on it.
On my previous RV I had a roof leak and it was a good one so I was looking to see what my best route was. So I reached out to an ex co-worker that use to work for a RV shop which also repaired older mobile homes told me to use Vulkem 642 for aluminum roof leaks. From what he told me the Railroad industry uses this product to repair a lot of thir cars that have aluminum roof/shell. A gallon of this runs approx $100. So I stripped all the old sealers, caulking, and other crap that previous owners used and apply this over all roof seams and what ever else was on the roof. From that moment on never a leak after that point.
I will tell you it was hard to find it in the Puget Sound area that wasn't in a 5 gallon container. I ended calling up the RV shop where my co worked at and they shipped it to me.
