Well my “honey” is home.

I just got her home and WOW what a hodgepodge of this and that she is. As far as the motor and transmission she is solid and strong. She will need valve cover gaskets though. As far as the inside well there is no hope. One cabinet fell off the wall and the passenger side and rear wall are a complete loss. The roof has over three inches of tar ob it and it is sagging bad. The undercarriage is most interesting. It looks like a P30 frame with the cutaway front, but there is a steel floor under some of it. The outer edges at least 6” in are wood. Past the axel they extended the frame by welding angle iron to the top extending it to the rear bumper and a small return piece. In the rear it is only wood. I guess my question is “why not gust extent the C-channel frame or just use a longer frame?” I may do just that and extend the wheelbase. It looks like the slandered gray and black water tanks on it and the propane tank is nearly full. I know for a fact that the floor plan will change, but to what I need to plan out. I’m going to pull the interior first and hold on to what is good and pitch the rest. I want to square off the back and make the roof one height. I’m hoping to post as many photos as I can and I will have many a question.
