What did you do to your old RV today?

Sorry for the delay in answering what product I used on my roof. I used a product called BEST, RUBBER ROOF. I bought a gallon and was going to dilute it, but after reading the instructions I decided to use it full strength. I did small sections at a time. I first swept the roof and then sprayed it off with the hose. While still wet I just splashed a little of it out on the roof and scrubbed it with a soft blue bristle brush that the person at the RV store told me to use. After each section of cleaning I rinsed the roof and sprayed off the side of the MH so it didn't dry on the sides. I was so shocked at how well it cleaned I couldn't even believe my own eyes.

Was a gallon the right amount? I see a 48oz option on Amazon.

Started replacing the halogen bulbs with LED replacements. I can't believe how many lights are in this MH. This is going to get expensive but it will definitely be worth it!

Guess a few of us are doing Summer maintenance - fridge burner cleaning - water heater cleaning and other items this nice weather permits.
Today I changed my Air Brake Filter Cartridge.

DH removed the ghastly mirror backsplash and installed Smart Tiles

Today, I installed a separate voltmeter connected directly to the starter battery along with a switch. Now I can check the condition of the starter battery with a quick flick of a switch. It is back lit as well. Amazing what you can manage with stuff you find lying around your garage.

Finished the trim for the new refrigerator and mostly cleaned up the mess that just always seem to happen.

Sounds like a neat plan will attempt to emulate.

Today I will definitely be finishing up the bundling of the wires etc for the completion of the rear view camera(s) setup I started to install. What a plethora of crap under a motorhome that you have to be careful to not get in the way of future repair or replacement.

My batteries are under my boarding steps mid coach. I actually installed the gage right into my steps which lift up for access to the batteries. My thinking was geared towards checking the battery condition when it is parked but not plugged in during the summer.

Changed out and cleaned up the waste pipe for a new 3" black water waste valve. I'll change the grey water valve at a later date, as it still can be opened/closed without much effort.

Now to get all the windows out(one at a time) and reseal with some new sealing putty.

Wow, that looks fantastic! I'm hoping to give our kitchen and bath a facelift over the winter by removing the Formica tops and replacing with solid surface. I hadn't given the back splash a thought, but now I will definitely do that as well.

Picture of the start of re-painting of MH. Out with the decal, maroon paint. In with the turquoise. Looking for something between 50's RV, art-deco, southwest style. DW Rebecca approved a paint sample. We will see.
