Dropped her off at an exhaust shop to get the new dual exhaust put on with series 70 flowmasters replacing the glasspacks. I will be picking it up this afternoon to get it loaded up for the next trip tomorrow.

Due to time constraints the 2 1/2" tailpipes will exit just in front of the left rear wheels. The 440 should sound a lot better. it will be all new from the headers back.

Picked Nessie up from the muffler shop and it sounds great except for a header leak. Also found that the motor mounts and trans mount have broken so it is parked at the house until I can get everything back in place.

I adjusted the driver windshield wiper, the stop was too low and it banged on the bottom of the windshield.
Also changed my gen. oil this evening!
Washed the entire RV yesterday, cleaned the tires and opened up all of the canopies and washed both sides of them. No wonder I feel sore today!

Roof issues

In my recently acquired 77 Minnie Winnie I replaced the AC gasket and then applied the roof sealing tape to numerous screw holes that were in the roof. I first cleaned and sanded the areas around the holes. I plan to use the self leveling sealant wherever needed, and then, as a last step, cool coat the entire roof. The roof is bare aluminum with no seams except around the edge. Oh, and while I have the AC cover off I am painting it with the Fusion paint made for plastic.

Tim, sorry but when we got to Quartzsite I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I couldn't believe what a zoo the place was and i couldn't believe the way everyone thought themselves the most important person in the world when it came to rules of the road. 360-202-1390 will get us and we will be in Yuma the next couple of days, then Casa Grande for a bit then in Tucson for the first week of February. May or may not return to Quartzsite on our return trip.

Muffler shop did the work on the ground. I doubt they broke them. I am guessing that the one Panic stop I made when someone pulled out of a side street in front of me might have done it. The Brakes are stopping much better and surprised me with how fast it stopped. That was on the way to the muffler shop with my truck on the dolly behind it.

Yea its a real zoo for sure but what a tribute to the MH industry. Some real beauty's.
We should meet up with Gordon that would be 3 of us that meet from irv2.
Looks like I'll be planning a cruise down to Yuma.
Tim

I did not do anything to the frozen MH today, but I did get some new paper blinds to try out, air bags and compressor for front springs, rear view camera and lots of little items to be installed when it warms up a little. Hope to finish the front ac job soon. Can't wait!!!!!

Yesterday I replaced the motor and transmission mounts on the old Travco. It took two floor jacks and two chain hoists to get everything in line but that is done.
Trans mount before

Trans mount after

Next project the Hanger bearing on the driveshaft which was pulled out when the mounts went.

Pulled the old one off the shaft today but rain has stopped me from going any further right now.
