Floor!

As part of the restoration of our recently acquired 1977 23' rear bath Minnie Winnie, I took up all of the shag carpet. The old floor underneath was pretty rough, so I put down birch 5mm underlayment and then applied Henry's floor primer. Tomorrow I put down self stick vinyl tiles. It already looks a LOT better. Can't wait for the tile.

Yesterday I installed driver side and passenger side fleetwood fans under the overhead center storage compartment.I located an ignition accessory terminal under the dash and ran a 10 gauge wire from it to an external after market fuse box.I the ran wires up behind the window molding through the cabinet to the two on off switches.I mounted the fans using 3/16 molly bolts. They look great and original and best of all they work like a charm.I also installed new valve stem extensions and brackets on the dual rear tires. These fans are also used to help remove condensation from the large windshield, especially after sitting all night while were sleeping.Love this site.I get a lot of good info here.I am presently working on the generator .It surges and won't idle smooth.I'll get her sooner or later.

Well, I guess the old saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' still applies. You can see the front wheel is off. I took them both off to have new tires installed. One of them was low, so I filled it up with air, but could hear a little air coming from the valve stem. When we got back from a few days away, the tire was flat. Went to get a new valve stem core, but noticed that the entire tire came off the rim..the bead separated.
So I took them off, and noticed how easy it was to get to the spark plugs. decided to remove one spark plug to see how it looked...and yep, broke it. So I got 8 new plugs, and while changing them today...broke 3 of the plug wires. Gonna pick up a new wire set tomorrow. I think I will leave everything else alone, since it is all working fine.

This week I started re caulking the seams on the roof, and installed a new backup camera BC20 for the 760 LMT GPS. Then I installed a 4 inch tube to the rear bumper to hold they stinky slinky one regular length and one longer.

Fixed my new flag pole that I broke trying to get it in the MH. Reattached the flags and wire tied the power cord for the light bar better. Anyone now of a place that sells the top ball.?
Thanks,
Tim

Looking for further advice on the P30 w 454 throwing belts. All of my research shows this unit has had belt issues from day one.
