hpbcrillo,
Nice job, you have made that interior much brighter and updated it so it looks like a new one.

My holding tank shutoff valves (25+ years old) have started leaking making life miserable when dumping the tanks time comes around. We're at Quartsite so buying new ones was easy, replacing them was something else. Rusted bolts was expected and handled with rust buster and vice grips. The drain lines coming to the valves and then to the downspout are so short, theirs almost no give to allow easy replacement. had to be careful not to break anything, got both valves out and the black water valve back in. At this point the two line for the grey water line were hard on each other making it almost impossible to get the valve back in. Keeping the O-rings on at the same time was a no-go. My solution was to take two pieces of thin sheet metal, cover them with Vaseline, put them between the lines and slide the valve into position, then carefully remove them one at a time. A quick check showed everything in it's place, install the hardware and Done! I left the end cap off for a few days and not a sign of a leak.

Thanks Frank. We still have a ways to go but we are keeping it usable while doing the work. It is fun working with curved walls and steel frame work but those are the reasons we like the Travco.
