Frank, try Turtle paste it tool off the light oxiadation and brought the color back. I wish I would have tried it before I bought all the others that worked but didn't last. I usually wax mine 2 times a year.

Tim,
I will consider trying the Turtle next time I use a paste wax, Remember that I have Gelcoat rather than aluminum, which does make a difference on what you use.

Morning Frank, I would love to know more about your 82 Fleetwood. I have an 83 that has been in storage for the better part of it's life with 35,000 miles on it and we have been working on it off an on for a year and think she is just about road worthy for us. Any ideas, suggestions on upgrades you have done and pictures would be great.
Thanks Joe

Joe,
It is Spritz that has the '82 Pace Arrow.

Joe,
I'm the one with the 82 PA. I really haven't done much to her. Replaced part of exhaust ran pipes to behind wheels instead of in front, New rubber, new shocks, lots of wax. She had 44,000 miles on her and just under 300 hours on the genie. now at 60,000 miles and still in the 300's hours on genie.
I added a dresser in place of one of the beds because there was no place for cloths. Otherwise she is original.
Tim

Thanks for the response, we have had to do quite a bit more mechanical even with the low mileage just due to sitting for all the years but she is coming around.

Got the majority of the doubling frame for the cabover deck installed, finally eliminated the bow in the cabover floor from the undersized framing.

Rejex on Rejex off
Following advice of some. Original finish in excellent shape for a 23 model years girl. Barkeeper's and Rejex. WOW. My colors are not dark so results are more muted, but wow. Oh, I said that. Can't wait to start second application. Darn work gets in my way. Not for much longer though.

Had to replace the fresh water pump. Ordered new Shur-flow, as same as original. Learned how to be a contortionist to remove and replace holding screws. My arms are still hurting! Possibly bad as I found (after one year) that there was no filter in the filter housing. Also had to replace the kitchen faucet as flow was restricted. Bath faucets ran fine.

Pulled the new wire for the forward clearance/marker lights and installed said new lights.
Installed my first sheet of new ceiling, once I pull the wires for the reading lights in the cabover, and install an extra couple 2x2s for the cabover partition wall to attach to, I can install the second .
