Shopdawg, if you start a new thread under RV Forums, then under RV Systems and appliances you will probably get more responses. Could be low battery or a poor ground. Good luck and welcome!

Good Afternoon,

Went out and put the awning out after washing the rig yesterday to let it dry. It was dirty so decided to wash it too. Went on roof again and did more caulking of areas that needed it.

Last summer caulk held up real well but it has been so hot and dry this summer that the caulk just seemed to crack. It's fixed now so will check again in a month or two.

The rig is all clean now so hopefully it will stay that way for a bit.

Not exactly today, but an ongoing thing. First, I had the top half of the entertainment center torn out and a flat screen on a swing arm put in. Then I made the rock wall , from foam, which is extremely tedious but worth the effort. It was easy enough physically, I wasnt in a hurry either. and I'd like to keep going on the side walls for insulation value but with my arthritis worsening IDK if I can. If anyone wants details on how -to, I'll start another thread.
I had crown moulding put up and a new leather sofa delivered. A double recliner -awesome. You should have SEEN the original, it was HIDEOUS. Too bad because it was a super comfy sleeper with mini recliners.
I also painted my counters awhile back. Granite look , which came out looking great and is holding up well. The counters were laminate tops with oak round edging. I will do a thread on that too one day.
Someday I'd like to have the floors done. Maybe wood plank.

Chris Light,

Mine isn't vintage either but no one here seems to worry about it. You can get some great ideas from some of these people so look around. I've been here about 2 years and mine won't be vintage until 2024.

Yikes! Worst attempt at a repair I ever saw. At least you know your repair will have to turn out better.

Tim,
We have faith in you, like we have said before, just take your time and don't try to rush through and you will be fine.

Chris, I'd like to know more about how you made the rock wall. If you start a new thread on that please let me know (and I'll watch for it too).

As for what I did to mine - installed Koni shocks on the rear (did the fronts a few weeks ago). Took it for ~50 mile drive, much nicer handling than before. Not much difference going in a straight line, but it doesn't lean nearly as much into a turn as it used to - which is exactly what I was hoping to accomplish.
