Took the old Eagle in for her engine overhaul today, hope it stays around the estimate
Have pulled all the valances and stuff out, it looks pretty rough in there all naked. Have a lot of it done, here at the house, waiting for my heavy duty machine to come on Monday to pleat the drapes.
Got a couple of names of paint shops where we can get the front painted and some places touched up if we have any money left!! Hubby was going to do it, but still don't have electric or heat in the RV garage and going to be to cold to do it soon, soooo.

Since we are doing all the other stuff to the RV I'm thinking of redoing the wallpaper, has anyone stripped it and put up new? What we have is original and its looking tired. The bottom in the back is wood paneling so would just be the top part. The bathroom walls too, but not a lot of wall area to repaper. I found some good vinyl paper on sale and it does not even have a pattern repeat so no waste. There are only 4 rolls, I think that would be enough, even if not it would look ok with whats already there.
So thoughts?

Most of the manufacturers used paneling that was made with the wallpaper applied during the manufacturing process. It is very hard to remove the paper. I would go with a heavy vinyl wallpaper and just cover the old wallpaper.

I don't know if it will come off, I noticed it is pulling back at a lot of the seams, I mean the stuff is only 25 years old! I figured since I had all the valances and things off this was the best time to do it. I ordered 4 rolls
on ebay of paper that doesn't have to be pattern matched, just a simple
pale grey and white sort of design, very muted. The bedroom has
wood panels half way up so small area to paper, the closet is cedar so
nothing in there. I'm going to paper the dining room and living and then
if I have enough left do the bathroom, which again is small areas. I
have wallpapered in houses before but been a long time ago, will see
how it goes. If I do wallpaper on wallpaper I will need a different paste.
It's a good vinyl paper, $50 a double roll, ouch, 30 foot to a roll and 20 inches wide. I have seen some individual rolls of the same on ebay so hoping I have enough.

He did not have the tree illuminated. When that is powered it looks like the strip in LV.

I thought the panels had the pattern in them. We put on primer, and painted them. 4 years they look great!.

It rare to find one without a pattern repeat, just random I guess. Takes a lot more paper when you have to match it.
Have to get the motorhome back before I do anything, not sure if the diesel shop has even started on it or not. May call in a week or so and see.
I worked last night sewing the kitchen curtain over the sink, putting the trim back on a bedroom valance. Got sidetracked covering some little ice cream chairs that I traded for.
My heavy duty machine came in for making draperies, very good price is an older mechanical machine, everyone wants electronic now, so these are pretty cheap. My others won't sew really heavy things. They said you can sew awnings, upholstery, canvas, denim, sounds good, we shall see.
