Refurbishing Fuel System
Vacuumed all the PO's cat hair out of the converter. (DW had already vacuumed and cleaned much of the interior.)
Replaced leaking diaphragm & spring in fuel pressure regulator.
Couldn't hear the in-tank fuel pump run and no flow when key set to run. So I probably need to replace the pump. I should r/r the flexible fuel lines as they seem to rot away anyway; so I started loosening tank straps to gain access to the top of the tank.

What did you do to your old RV today?
Replaced the mounting guides on one of the drawers.
Secured my new gas cap with a simple solution using some stretchable parachute cord after losing the prior one.
Got the inner right rear dual patched at my local Les Schwab Tire Store. It had a bolt in it.

Installed Door
I installed a door under the bench seat to make access easier without having to remove seat cushions. The other bench seat had a door don't know why Keystone didn't do this with both sides.

RV Lock
Installed RV Lock. Works great. Love it that I do not need to have a key and also has a remote. Also installed Hangs exhaust fan in the bathroom. Easy to install and good air movement.

I've been working at removing the ratty and ugly valances and woven wood blinds. Prior to today, I held the top ruffle down and removed the screws from the valance support. Once it was loose, I had to rip the fabric to get it off as it was stapled to the support beam for the blind.
This afternoon I was having trouble holding the ruffle down and getting at the screw, so I just yanked and the whole front piece came off. It was only stapled on. With it out of the way, it's much easier to get to the screws to remove the blind.

Pop up makeover
Last winter we bought a friend (single mom of 2 special needs kids) a 1976 Starcraft Starmaster 8. Once school was out, we tackled it. So far, all of the interior items have been removed and all the wasps nests and mouse nests have been removed. This made it smell a whole lot better. For now, she has replaced the dinette with 2 stools, 1 bench, and a table. She has added a potty, and bins with items stored in it. She plans to replace the fridge & heater, and create a new sink area. I'm making curtains for both ends and we are watching for futon mattresses. It's going to be cute once we get it all dolled up.
So here's a question: Where and how do you put a spare tire on a pop up?

Installed new LED strip underneath awning. First one last year never worked right. Turns out he infrared receiver was damaged and couldn't read the remote.
Very nice now.

Brought Miss May home Wednesday out of storage and gave her a much needed wash.
Today cleaned the inside, restocked all the things inside that we take out for winter.
Washed rugs, towels, and floors.
Took her and dumped tanks because we just de-winterized her. Local CG charges $10. for dumping which is fine by us.
Tomorrow, we take her out and learn how to hook up the Equinox to tow four down. Big trip this August so looking forward to that.
