On Sat I changed the heater hoses and flushed the rad with water until it ran clean. I put some rad flush fluid in it and brought it up to operating temperature . I'll leave this in there for about a week bringing it up to temperature now and then while taking it for short jonts. I'll fill up with new Prestone when the rad flush has done it's job.
On Sunday I started with Bar Keepers Friend, I'll finish this up today, hopping for a couple of days of nice weather to coat the EPDM roof and do the Zep treatment.
It's scheduled for a trans flush & filter later this week.
This should do it, since it's new to me I think I ve covered everything. One short (2 or 3) hour trip then our trip from Ontario to Cape Breton NS.

Oh my aching back!
Today I cleaned the plywood subfloor and put down adhesive primer. When that dried, I laid the peel and stick tile. While I know that isn't ideal flooring, I had to go cheap to get thru the summer. We are remodeling our house soon and will have plenty of laminate flooring left to put in the RV. But I wanted a floor now that wouldn't give my splinters between the toes. I have decided to wait on the wallpaper and focus on the electrical because right now nothing turns on. Got a new extension cord and the 30 amp to 15 connector. Still no power. Since I'm such a noob, I need to do some more research. I did turn all the breakers on at the little converter box under the bed. Guess its time to ask the beau to check it out. I don't know nothing about no electrical!

I just bought a very clean 78 fleetwing 5th wheel. It was raining when I brought it home the otherday and I noticed a couple leaks so I sealed up all the roof seams. Then my wife and kids cleaned out our old camper a 73 american travler and put everything away in the "new" one. Then I sat and stared at it trying to figure out how Im going to put a lift kit or something on it so it levels out when its hooked up to the my07 chevy 2500hd.

99 percent of hail damage is all gone now, this side had 200+ dents in it and I finished it up today. Man it was a lot of bondo each one 2 maybe 3 times sanding it all out then filler primer and sanding then priming and paint but it was worth the effort.
All that rounded siding above and below the windows is hard to fix!

Boy, that's a cool and massive project. I would love to see more about it. I know there have been some photos added to iRV2, but have you documented what you're undertaking?

Thank you.
Yeah, I have a restoration thread running over on Motorhomecraic.com. It's a slow moving story as I'm doing all the work in my spare time.
Still, I'm enjoying it and its starting to come together now...
You can find the story here:-
