I replaced the thermostat but that apparently wasn't the problem. Still getting nothing at all out of the furnace. No fan, so spark, no flame, nothing. I do get 12 volts at a few wire connections at the furnace but can't tell how to trouble shoot it at this point. But the buttons on the thermostat work well now. It's getting too cold not to have a furnace running during a tailgater etc.

ukpajf when ours did that we had to replace the circuit board. Cost about $100.00 and an hours time. Hardest part was locating the proper board.

I just got the new 7" rear view camera system and will be installing it shortly. can't decide yet on the on dash mount or the above dash mount for the screen. The present VR-3 unit I have is too small a scene to be seen well at the distance it can mount. This will more than likely mount on the left side of the unit to be used as a better lane clearance sight line. I will take pictures and post tomorrow.

All new brake system, calipers, pads rotors, master cylinder brake lines hard and soft $3200. New tire, busted motor mount, shocks and mounts $800. Considering an exhaust gasket. And no guarantee that something else won't break before I leave for Florida.

Calling to see if we can get the MH in to have the Gennie fixed, I've replaced the fuel pump no luck I think its the carb.1982 vintage 250 hours. It has ran top notch the last 4 years and then one day it starts then starts revving like its staving for gas. Took a quart glass of fresh gas and put the fuel line in and the same thing happens. If I hold the governor it will idle okay.
Sound like a carb problem too you?
Tim

Yep, more than likely, one of the jets is plugged, and when it calls for power it can't get enough gas.

I had no start prob with my '95 Generac so took carb apart put in carb cleaner overnite with bowl gasket removed, made new mount gaskets , started the first time. Good luck
If you do it rinse all parts with water and blow out with comp air. Don't lose anything. Remove carefully the. Bowl gasket, before cleaning to reuse or it will swell up. prob no kit avail.

Tim,

What make model do you have. There's a guy who did RV repairs in this neck of the woods and he has oodles of old carb kits for small stuff.

Saw your post and ordered one for our oldie. Can't beat the price and it would really be nice to see behind, especially for hooking up trailer.

Took my MH in to have a tranny cooler installed, a furnace LP leak fixed, a brake fluid flush, a diff service, chassis lube and a oil change. What was supposed to be a 3 day job took 8 days. The shop did a great job on the tranny cooler!
