Washed it on Sunday. Took it up to Plano tire for the first ever state inspection and it passed! Now I have to take it to get weighed so I can get the title transfer done. I also got the jacks to work. Things are starting to look good.

Got the heater core, and A coil box out to modify, and clean up.
going to have the A coil tested, and found a heater core for 103 with shipping.
Installed LED fixture in living room of coach, may double up on them.

I have been holding off replacing the old tube type T'V'S in my Big Girl for years. Mainly because they still worked. Well after the first of the year my computer monitor in my office died and I replaced it with one of those new 19 inch flat screen T'V'S that were on sale at Walmart for $98. Didn't plan on using it for a TV, just as a monitor.

Well I was doing some house cleaning in the Big Girl yesterday and the bedroom TV died while I was listening to the news while I worked. So I went in the house and grabbed the new computer monitor/TV to see how well it worked in the Coach , more out of curiosity than anything else.

It hooked up easy and fast, weighed nothing compared to the now dead old 13 in tube TV and had a great picture in the bedroom. In fact I laid down on the bed and watched a few TV shows just to see if I needed to buy another one.. I was blow away.

So out of curiosity I took it forward, to see if it would fit in the front too.Worked great up there too and it is so much bigger than the old T'V'S that are in it. I was really pleased with myself.

I will have to make some cabinet doors to fill the holes where the old heavy T'V'S normally sit and mount the T'V'S to the doors, but that will give me 2 more places to store those odds and ends you always need, that have no place to go. I'll post up pictures when I get them installed.

I must say that the cheap Wall Mart TV will make a nice upgrade to my Coach and if they die I can just replace them without any grief. They work great as computer monitors too. And have all the latest USB , hdmi, and even the old RCA and 75 ohm jacks we're used to.

If your curious look at the SPECTRA 19 inch LCD TV'S that Walmart sells for around $100 dollars. It was $98 for the Holidays and $109 yesterday. Not a bad unit for the price and perfect for the close confines of an RV. No need for a 1080 dpi TV in that small of a screen.

BUT one word about the sound quality. Turn the treble down and the bass up and it will sound better. Some people on the Web Site commented the sound was terrible out of the box because of the tiny speakers I was planning on putting some nice computer speakers on it to give me surround sound, but then realized my Coach has surround sound in it already so I'm going to wire the new T'V'S into that old system. Should make it a killer package..

So if you've thought about upgrading you old TV for something more modern but didn't want to invest a fortune in T'V'S for your RV because they won't get used enough to justify $300 T'V'S look at that one.
I'm going to get one of those Roku USB Plug ins later and make them Smart T'V'S and Stream movies.

My wife will love being able to do emails and surf the NET with her phone on the bigger screen while I'm on the other TV.

Forgot to add I bought a HDTV antenna for the office for $17 at Best Buy and it worked well enough here at my house just stuffed in the TV cabinet of the RV.

Winguard make an HDTV replacement antenna for your crank up arm for $50.00 that is a direct replacement for your old round TV antenna for better reception out in the boonies.

And I should only need one antenna for both TV'S.

Today I replaced the shower outer skylight and ran eternabond tape up the drivers side (roof rails to roof)

Last week we found some signs of leaking so I climbed up on the roof

Peeled off the sealant and found numerous cracks, sealed it up so that I could order a new one.

Done. One of the hardest things was removing the sealant I put down last week. I could not see any cracks until I removed the sealant and tape that a professional installed last year for my father. It looks like the cracks were existing and he caulked over the cracks. IMO that was a bad
plan since the part is only 67 dollars including second day shipping for Tiffin.
