I misunderstood and thought you were talking about your outside compartment doors. Mine all use gas struts which are hooped.

Have you tried contacting Princess Auto in Victoria? They routinely have older gas struts for sale dirt cheap. Just got a pair for my '94 Jeep and all I needed was the length (closed) and the clip type for attaching. Link to latest flyer attached.

Thanks for the link. I've already arranged to stop at Triple E in Manitoba this summer to get all the rubber hinges and gas struts changed at the same time. I've been warned about putting new struts on without changing the old hard hinges.

OK I had not heard of that issue about the hinges. BTW I get a lot of my RV stuff through PA and their catalogs, flyers etc are all free, you just have to sign up for them.

Thanks. I'll check them out.
All my side cargo doors work on rubber hinges which is one long rubber moulding on each side. I had my propane door fall off in my hands shortly after I bought this two years ago. Info I got from Tripe E is there was a bad batch of hinges around my production date. ( 1999 ).
I'm going to get them to replace both sides on our east coast trip this summer.

Lots of luck and I hope it goes well for you.
Any place in particular you are going or just east.
DW and I headed east a couple of years ago and got all the way to the tip of Cape Breton. Super trip that was for sure.

We are going till we can't go any farther. Going to spend about three month exploring and visiting. Wife has never been east of Regina and I've never been east of Toronto.

Lots to see and do back there. Niagara Falls and area is worth a week all by itself. PEI and Nova Scotia are only surpassed by New Brunswick. If you are heading across through Canada don't miss Kakabeka Falls just this side of Thunder bay.

Happy it worked for you. I'm not sure if it was what I referred too but glad it worked.

Sorry took awhile to get back, Yes we had 1-2 inches I think the East coast is getting the whole US snowfall this winter
I think we got maybe a inch overnight while up there.
We had the whole CG to our selves until we came back from dinner and a Van Camper had pulled in next to us. We even had a surprise we stayed no charge for CG. Had a freebee from the Casino.
Just a couple pics of a empty CG, The Bldg is the Bath/shower and restrooms. The little houses in the distance are what they call Chalets pretty neat 1 bedroom/living/kitchen rooms.

Tim,
Great shots.
Must get a bit windy in that CG when Mariah decides to pay a visit?
Thanks for sharing.

Spritz, Looks nice in those pics! We got about 4-5" again last night in Long Island, NY, luckily it is powder! Just swept it all away on top of the old frozen stuff, put plywood around the MH and put my 275,000 btu bullet heater in front of it, should be nice and toasty and dry when I go under it later. Going to see if I can get the steel lines for the p/s made up new today, tried welding up the pinholes but too many of them. Don't want to take the chance of losing the p/s orhydroboost on the road.

Hello,
How did it turn out? What do you think caused the pinholes? Never heard of that before. Boy you guy's are really getting it this year. We have maybe 2-3 inches in spots on the ground and can see lots of grass .
Yep, Day's getting longer but still not in the 30'ties. That's what our average is suppose to be this time of year.
What's the next project?
Tim
