I think we got maybe a inch overnight while up there.
We had the whole CG to our selves until we came back from dinner and a Van Camper had pulled in next to us. We even had a surprise we stayed no charge for CG. Had a freebee from the Casino.
Just a couple pics of a empty CG, The Bldg is the Bath/shower and restrooms. The little houses in the distance are what they call Chalets pretty neat 1 bedroom/living/kitchen rooms.

Your coach looks real nice.. what is your TV arrangement. We haven't installed a new one yet.

power outage

Woke up as the power went out, this morning in the house, outside temps were around 0.
Fired up the generator in the RV, got the RV furnace running, and was ready to move the dogs, bird, and wife out to the warm RV, and the power came on.
So we went and bought a new TV for the RV. not sure how it worked out that way
I have never tried to start the furnace in the few weeks I have had it, so I was glad it worked really well.
Generator was running rough this morning, so I turned the altitude adjustment to high altitude, and it was running like a champ. Odd because we are only 523 ft above sea level.

We have always set it up where it is in the Pic. The sound bar on the step below the TV. Kind of a pain but only takes maybe 10 minutes.
If you look at the mattress in the front ceiling above the drivers/passenger seats. I want too cut that out just the size of the TV and reinforce it with 3/4 Plywood. Frame it in. I already have found the TV mount that will unfold and have the TV hang straight down. When we need to put it away it will fold up into the cutout and be flush with the mattress. I'll mount the TV Hanger as close to the front as possible, so it should hang above where it sits now.
The only problem so far is the Sound Bar, Location
Open for suggestions,
Thanks,
Tim

Yep, Day's getting longer but still not in the 30'ties. That's what our average is suppose to be this time of year.
What's the next project?
Tim
There are 2 steel lines one pressure one return on the steering box the pressure one was ok but the return was leaking , the whole undercarriage had a thick coating on it , the suspension, chassis everything. We are in the "Salt Belt" here in the winter! Most of the plow truck drivers here don't know how to plow, so they just spread tons of salt on the roads! Saw one county truck the other day, driver was on his cellphone, drinking coffee as he dumped a layer 1/2" thick on a dry road , I know as I was walking to get cigarettes and saw him go by, couldn't get that taste out of my mouth! I replaced every steel line for the brakes as they blew out trying to drive it up on blocks, scared me to death as it took off backwards into the street and had to coast to a stop, my SO had just driven it thru holiday shopper traffic an hour before the brakes went to get 6 tires put on, i'm sure she would have killed a few people had it happened earlier! So since the P/S also runs the brake booster, I changed everything that even looked suspect, hell it was all original from 1988 ! Next project? Well, just put the radiator back in , it wasn't leaking but the tubes were a bit clogged, they wanted $200 to take it apart and clean it, with no guarantee. So I went with a new core for $540 with a guarantee, as we plan to keep it for a long time. Got rid of all the AIR pumps and crap as they are not needed for inspection anymore. New shocks, 2 new stabilizers, all new emergency brake cables, belts, hoses. Going to Florida this week on her Maiden Voyage, don't want to be freezing on the side of the road ! I got rid of all the rust underneath with a Harbor Freight needle scaler, it worked great! When we get back from Florida and the weather gets nicer, I will jack her up get the wheels off and sandblast/ paint the whole underside , too cold to do it now and SO is getting cranky, she told me not to disassemble anymore, so I am just getting it safe and reliable to go on this trip! We have talked about this for years and haven't had any meaninful vacation for over 10 years , so wish us luck! Bobby

Good afternoon. Due to the fact that it's WAY too cold for any outdoors activities, I cranked up the fleetwood and got it nice and toasty inside. I was determined to do SOMETHING in the motorhome today. So I put up some decrative mood lighting. Radio Shack is closing over half it's stores in the Philadelphia area so I picked up some led lighting.

I have upgraded my TV to all flatscreens. So I had to do something with that hole over the driver's area

Wow your really doing it right...We really haven't done much too ours, the PO had a stock pile of parts under the couch, Fuel Pump,Fuel Filters, belts, hoses, Headlights.
I know all about salt being in Minn. I too have seen these Drivers sitting at a stop light while the salt is piling up.
The HWY dept is using a liquid that they put down before the snow hit's. I'm not sure what that is going to do to our Vehicles.
The Original owner never drove it in any salt so my undercarriage is really clean. When I had the exhaust worked on they replaced from the mufflers back with Stainless, I wanted the end pipes too come out behind the rear wheels instead of in front of them. From the Mufflers forward is still original.
I bet you'll make it down there and back problem free.
Will you be able to keep up on the Forums while down there?
Good Luck and I will keep my fingers crossed...
Best Wishes,
Tim

Roaddogg369, The lighting looks nice. I've been thinking about doing the same. Its hard to see what you did up front the Pic's are pretty Dark. I'm going to do the same today but I'm just going to catch up on Reading my MH Magazines.
Have a Good Day,
Tim

It is brine, salt and water
Seems to work really well as a pre treament.
Less$$$$ and makes later treatment of salt work better
I believe the theory is that it dries until the snow hits it, then "actives"
I would not want to follow the salt water truck around😄😄😄

They have used this mix here in NH last two years. The first year they did not get something right and it was as slick as oil on ice on the roads. Be careful on it or better yet do not go out for a day or two.

Thanks Tim. It was hard to get good lighting with the bright light outside using this galaxy phone..lol. the blue lighting isn't overwhelming while driving at night. They glow just right. I have some under counter lighting to install. When I get those done later in the week, I'll post some better pics. Have a great day
