Got the new master cylinder in . New steering stabilizer in on the frame and the other stabilizer is in but not hooked up. Was getting dark , couldn't find one of the nuts for the Saf-t-plus , gave up, went in the house and stripped to get in the shower and the damn nut fell out of my shirt! Taking the day today to help a friend of mine work on his house. Another reason to get the hell out of NY! He has a 3 story home all floors heated , huge rooms beautiful woodwork and since last year when a pipe burst and the FD came, the building dept issued him violations , saying he is only allowed to use the 3rd floor for storage , no matter there is a steel fire escape outside! The house is just like many others on the block, and it is obvious everyone else is using them for living space, i.e. A/C units hanging out of windows , curtains , etc. ! It is getting ridiculous, they make you pay crazy property taxes , then tell you you can't use the property for what it was made for! I have a house in upstate NY on the Deleware River, we bought it in 1983 for $27000 cash, taxes were $660 a year , great! Now after storms and trees squashing the house, the taxes are like $3700 and we are debating whether to let them take it. When we bought it , there were no Zoning Codes, I planned on building a nice big shop and retiring there, building a new house myself as I had built 3 new houses in the area when I was younger, working for a local contractor. Now they dictate everything down to how and what type of plants and trees you can put in, minimum house size, hell I have 1.32 acres there and there is only the 2 of us, I don't need a 1200 sq ft house for 2 people, it's ridiculous because more and more we are being told how to live, and then told how much we have to pay to be allowed to live! Land of the FEE! Bobby

Yep, everyone is more interested in 'protecting their property value' than enjoying society and life.
They all think they're in Beverly Hills or something.

Doing good Tim! Glad I decided to do the e-brake cables, have to wait till Monday for the left one that I messed up after putting it in new, then driving over it(DUMMY)! Pulled the right wheel to put a new one in there, was gonna cheap out but glad I didnt, the wheel seal was starting to let go, grease on the brakes! Not something i'd enjoy on the side of the road, although I will be prepared for most anything, bringing a 4 ton Jack, stands and a roadbox with lots of tools. Speaking of "TOOLS", pulled the floorjack from under the MH and hit the piping from the waste/sewer tank, pipe fell off and inside was all ice, PO didn't winterize I suppose! Will thaw it out and hope for the best as I am not filling tanks till I get to Florida. cya later, Bobby

I serviced my hot water heater, including changing the element and anode rod. I also replaced a faulty switch.
Replaced the stock horn with a WOLO bad boy. Which still sounds like a toy horn but it's better than the stock horn.

Just Wednesday night, from Amazon I ordered a new A/C shroud cover, protective cover for A/C when not using and a couple carbon monoxide alarms(one for camper and one for home) and I got surprised that all items arrived just today before 5pm. Only 3 days to get everything. Now have to wait for weather to stop snowing and warm up some to install everything.

Last 2 days I changed the oil & filter, changed the rear end fluid and gave the chassis a grease job.

Damn i'm getting old or something! Put the right rear seal in , e-brake cable in, neverseize star wheel start putting together? Threaded part of adjuster spins like a top, other end is rusted solid, not going to bother, getting 2 new ones tommorow! Snowed about 3-4" tonight just finished shoveling and salting, had all that junk melted around the MH, guess it's time for more Kerosene, LOL! Bobby
