My husband plans to make a repair at the bottom front that was scraped before we bought it and paint the front and cap at the top. We need to touch up a bit here and there and put new tape on. Overall paint is good otherwise. It has been undercover ever since we have had it and we redid the roof and everything up there except the fridge vent is new.

I changed engine oil and tranny filter yesterday..today i fibreglass the crack on back panel.

Put Dynamat sound & heat proofing under floor on both passenger and driver's sides (already have it in the doghouse - which made a BIG difference).

Almost done with roof repair. Last winter we put up with 4 separate leaks.
One above passenger seat from the Old Sat Dish, One from the Bat Wing, one in vent in kitchen area, and the other bath Vent.

got rid of dish and bat wing. Re-did bath vent and replaced center vent.
A lot of scrapping and all to get old caulk and tar off.
Caulked some areas and then replaced Eternabond tape. Hope no leaks this winter as we are staying put here in the PNW.

Replaced the passenger seat belt and the roof vent. Anchored the driver side fender that had the brackets in place but wasn’t connected 17 years ago when it was built. Fixed a trim piece. Cleaned the rear taillights. Wash the entire coach (DW did the roof ) and waxed the front. Busy day.

Replaced 12 rusty trim screws with stainless that hold the gas filler bezel to the body and resealed the two sink drains. Ordered a replacement bathroom fan motor and blade along with 4 shock absorbers.

Replaced the starter on the Onan generator. What a PIA! Wish most coaches had the gen set up like my GMC did with the rollerized tray. Just unlock it and slide it out; makes maintenance so much easier. Using a piece of wood and a small floor jack you can get enough weight off the rails to slide the tray out without a great amount of effort. With the gen tray slid out about half way I could get my arm over the top and get it swapped out.

Today I removed the original 25 year old O2 sensor....along with the threads in the sensor bung. Now waiting for my HeliCoil to arrive from Amazon so I can install the replacement sensor.

I have been dealing with water coming in from the rear AC uniit, during rain and condensation dripping from frt AC unit whens it on. so after 2 weeks of fiddling with seals and roof goop a inch thick from previous owner,,i bite the bullet and took to local RV dealer who said, $800 to reseal entire roof.,gaurenteed not to leak.. ok.. i have Never let anyone work on my stuff.. but the wife says to swallow my pride and take to them.and already had a guy ask the manager if it was for sale? dont see too many beat up paint faded C class Diesal pushers around here.

I'm really disappointed with the new tool The Sand Bar, (for a better name) to sand the repairs I'm doing to the Fiberglass on the rear of the PA. I have the valve set at 125 PSI on the Compressor I have to tap the front or the rear of the Sand Bar to get it to start but then it works. Then trying to find 2 3/4 x 17 1/2 sand paper is a joke. 4 stores yesterday and 2 automotive stores and the one store is were I bought the dang thing and it only sells it in 36 grit.

have a place to get Sandpaper? Even if I could find it in 17 1/2
sheets I can cut it on my paper cutter???

Tim,
Try putting a few drops of air tool oil into the inlet of the sand bar, ATF will work also. That should help with the starting of the unit. Make sure you run it away from the place that you want to sand until the excess oil is done coming out the exhaust.

Installed 3 of 4 new Monroe RV shocks today (Amazon didn't deliver the 4th on time). Changing the front shocks on an E series Ford Van is no fun.

My wife installed all sorts of organizers throughout the unit including a shelving unit in the shower which we never use.

Thanks Frank-to -the-rescue... saw someone said oil, So I put about 7-8 drops of 3 in one oil..
obvious it didn't work. Can I still use the ATF? I have that in the garage.
I decided I'm going to repaint the front stripe that I flubbed last season. I got the lip or edges sanded today and am ready to prime . I'm going to make it a little bit wider that original.

I took off the old sand paper tread and sanded, primed and painted the MH steps then I put 2 rubber treads on, then weighted it down with bricks all afternoon, appears to have stuck.
Just a little up date on the rear end of the old gal. If I can get that sanding bar to work and find the sand paper I will make some head way.

We bought baskets for the cupboard and storage drawers for the cabinets. Some rugs, and letterings for the wall, pictures too. Installed a electric fireplace. Still need to finish around the top. And installed a screen door push bar. Really personalizing out TT. And more to come.
