What kind of toad to go with my vintage MH
As I work on the project I can't help but dream of all the places the dog and I will go... and when I do I'm always thinking about what type of second vehicle I want to bring along. I have wanted a MH for years and I always thought a dual sport motorcycle would be a great second mode of transport if I were ever to get an RV.....but with the dog that just won't do. My first thought on a car to tow was a vw bug(I miss my old bug).....and then I thought a baja bug would be even better! The only other thing I could think of that would be fun is maybe a suzuki samurai but it wouldn't be as vintage
So what do you think a bug, a baja or a sammy? If you have towed one before what are the pros and cons of what you towed?

Maybe that motorcycle with a sidecar for the pooch? Have you seen Doggles, goggles made just for dogs? Cute, useful and I understand most dogs quickly see the value of wearing them.

I have seen the doggles they look cool. The idea of the duel sport would be that it could sit on a rack on the back rather than a trailer and I could ride in on and off road.

My old '47 CJ 2A (which I had fully restored, albeit with a more modern drive train) would have been a great toad. Wish I still had it.

There's something for everyone at our Back Forty Project Holding Area!
This one's been waiting since '95 after my son blew up the engine on his way to California.
It needs a little work...

Swe-e-e-t old Bug!
I'm sure you could make my old Baja look as good as that after taking a weekend to repair/rebuild/replace every single part of it!
Except the towbar...that worked just great when I towed the Baja home from Kalama, now referred to as "Kalamaty", Washington...
