What Makes a Camper Vintage?

What age requirements are there to consider a camper to be Vintage?
Thanks! Jim

20 years is the normal standard. That makes my rig a vintage Jayco fiver as of this year!

I thought it was when you couldn't get parts for them any more,LOL. I know how resourceful you have to be. I sold my 89 Southwind 3 yrs. ago not because I couldn't get, make, or figure out how to make do parts, but because I wanted 860 Lbft. at 1000 rpm.Pretty soon my DP's going to be vintage also. I'm a little concerned about vintage computerized parts. It seems in the computer world, vintage comes in at 2 yrs. and obsolete at 5.

If parts is the determining factor, then our antique may never qualify. I can still buy any part I need to keep it road worthy and fun.

Dictionary definition says:
"used to describe something that is not new but that is valued because of its good condition, attractive design, etc"
So there is more to it than just age.

Mine is 34 this year so can I get collector plates? Do they even have them? I got them on the 64 and you only pay once.
I can still find parts, just yesterday I found new taillights @ a MH dealership.
They only had 1 but if they had 2 I would have bought and changed them. Currently 3 squares of red, these were 1 red 1 red/backup,1 amber.. Sure would like to find them in LED's though.

seems im stuck with 68,s the DW and i currently have 3 1968 tt,s,,,an aristocrat landcommandor,a 68 holiday traveler, and just bought a 68 winnebago 216sl,,these are the newest of our fleet we also have an unknown year GO-TAG-ALONG tourquise sink and 2 burner stove on frig but it does have the matching ice box,,its a 10ftr..
we love the older tt,s so which of these is vintage...lol...i think i know which one is most vintage......the DW refuses to call anything newer than the 60s vintage...lol..
kinda shows our age doesnt it...i can remember all of these when i was tent camping when they were new.....wow how time flies..
