What the heck is this?

Hi everyone,
I just picked up a new to me 98 windsport 33' on the ford chassis. I cannot find in the manuals that came with it what this is. It's located in the far front driver side storage compartment. It's some sort of compressor (Thomas is the name on it), but what for? I don't see any leveling jacks on the RV. Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you traced where the output air hoses go? Could be a compressor for rear airbags?

The red hose goes from that compressor into the big tank, the other is a drain hose of some kind. The only thing that goes under the RV is those 3 wires which I assume is the power. Really bizarre. The label on the black tank says something about draining after each use...

Welcome to iRV2
My thoughts are air bags too.

Probably added by a previous owner, rather that factory, so nothing in manuals.
Do you have any gauges /buttons on the dash that don't make sense to you ?

What's the label on top say? Does it have a manufacturer name on it, other then Thomas? Could be for air bags or air horn. Thomas manufacturer's small to medium air compressors.

Thanks for the welcome! The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is the red light on the acc spot on the dash and some sort of port that is mounted down by my left knee.

Don't see any horns on the RV or spots where they would have been mounted, just the regular horn

Strange the label warns about water in brakes. Do you have a tag axle?

Does the unit have rear suspension airbags? Could be PO disconnected feed line. What is the white terminator on the tank?

What does the end of the suspected drain hose look like? That may have been a hose to something/somewhere that was simply cut off by the previous owner.

I have two thoughts. ONE has already been covered (Air Horns) the other is M&G towed brakes on a motor home that does not have air brakes.

The valve (electric) however, is more suggestive of air horns.
