Smile What tire size for my Beaver?

I have a 1997 Beaver 30ft DP. I recently bought the motorhome and want to make her purr again. I'm getting there but I am conserned about the tires. The previous owner put Dynatrac ST-990 255/70/TOR 22.5 tires on it. I do not know how old they are and the do have minor side wall cracks. I know nothing about these tires and I have a hunch they may not be the right size. The coach does not ride very well and feel every flaw in the road. I have the front air bags set a 10 inches, which I believe is spec.
Can anyone tell me what size tire my motorhome should have and can they tell me anything about the Dynatrac tires I have?
I am thinking about replacing them with Toyos, is that a good idea?

John, you could give Ken Carpenter at Home - Beaver Coach Sales and Service - 62955 Boyd Acres Road Bend, OR 97701 a call at (541) 322-2184. He will probably know or be able to point you in the right direction.

You might also consider looking at becoming a member of the Beaver Ambassador Club. There is a lot of Beaver knowledge there too.

Shouldn't the original tire size be on the weight sticker beside the drivers seat or did they not have them back then?
