What's this?

This is under two cupboards, one above the dining table, one above the sink area. The plastic cover says tv. The round thing looks like a cigarette plug for a dc tv maybe? But have no idea what the three/six little holes in the plastic cover is for.

Obsolete connector for twin lead TV antenna cable.
