What's this thing on the door?
On the inside of my 1986 Winnebago 27RT bathroom door is something that looks like a ladder. Too narrow to be a towel rack; no shelves or cubbies to hold anything. What is it supposed to be? Is there something missing? Is there any reason why I'd want to keep this thing? It's right up there with the knick knack shelf and the floor level magazine rack.

It's too narrow to be a practical towel rack........but that's probably what it is, a towel rack. Key word: practical
Some ideas are home runs, others are "scratch your headers"

yup, towel rack. The PO of our MH removed it from the bathroom door. I am actually thinking about putting it back up since he left us all of the pieces. I'm kind of an OEM type person. Each to his own ideas though right.

I would leave it if there were some way to use it, but apparently the concept of "bath towel" isn't in Winnebago's lexicon. Besides, there's a towel rack on the wall that is useable.

It also prevents the door from warping.

Hey Alvo, you know what ya might could do..........you could fit in thin plywood pieces below each rod, (so nothin' falls through) and make a bathroom magazine rack out of it. Just a thought for re-purposing?

There was something I think was a magazine rack, although it was placed at floor level, so not very practical either.
It now holds an inverter:
