Who made this?

I was at a friends farm and he has a class A motorhome on a Dodge RM400 chassis with a 440 in it. It was built in 1973, but I can't identify who made the body. It all aluminum, but I'm pretty sure it's not a Barth. Anyone recognize this?

Don't know who the maker of that is.

WOW!!! That thing is in beautiful shape, considering the age. What's the inside look like?

The interior is completely empty, as in nothing but the floor boards, and some junk. It was never built. Not a cupboard, not a bed - nothing, just a seat and a "dash" that was scabbed together to make it drivable.
It is a "blank canvas" just waiting for someone with more money than brains, which appears it might be me I am "considering" buying it???

It is a Barth. Go to www.barthmobile.com and post what you know. They have records and pictures of just about everyone built. It is all aluminum over a steel frame. Big community to help you.

I'm sure it's NOT a Barth. I have researched them and no picture I have seen looks like this one with 3 doors, a slit windshield and stacked headlights. I will go see it agin this coming week.

Could it be Grumman? They made aluminum motorhomes as well as canoes in that time period. I think they still make canoes.

That would be hard to pass up. I have a weakness for recycling discarded transportation units.

If it has a VIN, wouldn't a check tell you the manufacturer? Might get the chassis manufacturer, but still more info than you currently have.
