Thinking of mounting a ‘cruiserlift’ on the back of my 85 33’ Holiday Rambler.
Haven’t don’t the wheel base calculations yet but I ran it across a scale last spring before our first trip and I’m well under my axle limits.
Yes it has a tag axle and no I haven’t crawled under to look at the frame. Just wondering if anyone else has done this yet.

You might be better off with a dual tow dolly. It will be less expensive and won't put that weight on your frame. I'm building a dual wheel swivel trailer to put on the back of my 5th wheel. It would also work on your MH. You could buy a regular tow dolly and extend the front rails 3' and put a plate on it for the bike.

Well, I kind of like the idea of not having the wheels to deal with when not needed and also having the ability to pull the toad.

If the "cruiserlift" is to be used to carry a cruiser (thinking Goldwing or one of the bigger Harleys) I don't think you have enough frame/coach to support that kind of weight.

I have a similar coach, and though theoretically it has the gross to do what you want - that weight is going to be in back of the motorhome, creating some incredible leverage on the rear axles. Even though the axles are rated for it, with the bike lift to axle distance involved, I have some pretty serious doubts about the frame's capability to handle it. TO add to that concern, I'm guessing there's a pretty good reason the hitch is only rated for 300 lb of tongue weight.

I'd say no way, but I'm not the one wanting to take a bike with me...
