Window seal Help.

HI, Me again. I am trying to replace the window rubbers on my side windows, Mine are all dried up and shrunken. My local RV dealer had 5 feet of it at $2.50 per foot, but said if I needed to order more it would be $5.95 per foot, I need 60 foot do replace all of my windows and cannot pay that much. So I researched and found 3 different manufacturers that sell it and the best I could do was $3.75 per foot, plus shipping. Still too rich for my blood. If anyone knows where I can get this at less than 2 bucks per foot, please let me know.
Here are the Names and Numbers
Fleetwood #019444
Atwood # 132-014470
Winnebago # 098644-01-716
If only I could find out who the real Manufacturer of the rubber is and contact them??? I just figured that I would give it a shot. Thanks,Bobby

Try doing a search for "RV window seals". You will probably need to go by the profile and not the original parts number. The windows were not made by the RV manufacturer, so look for a seal that matches the profile you have. The prices vary greatly depending on the size and shape of the profile.

If you post a picture of the profile somebody might have ordered the same one and can give you a lead.

Good luck!

My son gave me a couple of catalogs for a place that sells many kinds of seals. I do need to order some when I get time.
The name of the business is Steele Rubber Products in Denver, Colo. 1-800-230-5897, website: STEELERUBBER.COM/RV,
e-mail: rv@steelerubber.com Catalog states they have been in business since 1958.
If you use them let us know how it goes.

I use Steele Rubber when I need hard to find seals. They cost a bit, but good quality seals.

This is why I love this forum.

I don't need this now, or even next year, but I know I'll be replacing seals in the next few years.

Saved this info for later

Window seal pics

Here is a picture of the seal that I bought, it was all that my RV dealer had left, 5 feet, They charged me $2.95 per foot, but said that if they were to get more it would be over 5 dollars per foot. The other photo is from the Winnebago catalog,(Part A in the picture) I called their parts dept and they said $3.75 per foot plus shipping . I need probably 60 feet of this and don't want to(cant) spend a fortune.

That's the same seal as in my windows. I checked the window frames, but I couldn't find any manufacturer's name tag on them. I'm interested in what you find out, as I will to be needing to replace some of the window seals in the future.

HI, Thanks but the link that you posted doesn't go to a shopping cart. Do you have a part number ? I don't see my part on their site. Thanks
