Windshield drapes

Went out yesterday to try and locate windshield drapes for our 83 Pace Arrow and all we could find were too long, does anyone have a source for these drapes?

You might try to shorten the ones you can get or have a seamstress do it for you. Might be cheaper than having custom ones made.

reduce drapes size

I thought of that, was considering buying a set from good will store of similar and reducing them, I guess I will have to verify the reduction cost to see it it is a value, because I can buy new ones for approx $130. at Camping world. maybe I just need to see how long will work, it seems as if the ones for sell at Camping World. I measures our atr approx 30" wide, and still needs to measer the lengths.

Understandably how poor the hardware works due to their age, and I now need to also wonder it it is worth it, if I am unable to get the hardware to work correctly, it seem to bind too much and the movement of the drape is sloppy and uneven, after the fact of removing them and rehanging them again so that all hooks were spaced evenly. I guess there must also be a trick to that also.

A little silicon lube on the tracks works wonders for smooth travel...

i replaced the pleated paper shades with the $100 curtains from CW, paid a seamstress $25 to sew them to fit exact. works great and saved a few dollars over the custom made model. i will have to try the silicone lube on the tracks.
