I got a headlight out on new to me RV. Does anyone know what the part number is for a replacement? I have one with the same plug style but it has different internal elements. I dont want to fry anything.

Your '86 Cheiftain should look like this, correct?

Those are standard rectangular "quad" sealed beam headlights. They are not specific to the Winnebago or any particular vehicle. Pretty much EVERY car, truck, etc. used them from the mid-seventies into the early nineties. I'm guessing the kid at the parts store wasn't even born yet then.

Low Beam is #4652
High Beam is #4651
