You may have a battery dis-connect. Look for a switch somewhere near the door. They have a panel that usually has two switches and two lights. One is for the engine and the other is for the coach battery's.

Thank you for your reply. We have looked and cannot find a panel such as you describe. There is a panel over the door with several buttons, i.e., generator, lp battery, fresh water, gray water, etc. We changed out the emergency start solinoid because the other one was shorting out.

All our problems started when the generator belt broke and wrapped around the hub. We changed out both belts, the top radiator hose
and attempted to change out the bottom hose. Then started adding antifreeze back and some dripped down on the emergency start solonoid and that is when we changed it out. After that we were unable to get any lights, radio or anything in the dash. However, am able to start the generator and have 12 volt lights in the back. Just nothing on the dash and no ignition. Could that have burned up the starter solonoid?

lhazday@hotmail.comAppreciate any help or suggestions before we try to have this "thing" towed to a mechanics shop!!!!

Lynn

Well, I spoke too soon. It seems all our problems have been solved. Just a simple matter of switching wires on the emergency solonoid (sp)/

Again, thans so much for your response and I will keep in touch and let you know how our RV experiences go. This is brand new for us and we decided to not put a lot into a unit until we see how we liked it.

Later, Lynn

Hello Again,

Seems we have another problem......Might have been ahead to buy something new.

After we got the othe problem solved with the switched wires on the solonoid (sp) now we can't get the generator to come on when the engines is working. We tried switching the wires around and haven't as yet found the right combination. If you have a suggestion it would be appreciated.

We were planning a trip this coming weekend so were trying to get the heater hooked up. This was what started it all. Couldn't get the blower to come on.

Oh well, type at you later.

Lynn
