No worrys matey, I'm under the pain killers that keep me from eating and screaming at the same time!! To tell ya the truth, I had forgot about your rebuild! Sorry about that. There is still no way its cheap, even with yours!! I was told,Pay now or pay as you go..either way, we have to pay!! If I was younger and not as busted up I could have done it myself but I'm glad we had that done for us!! Like I said, I still have other stuff to do yet, but I can take my time! We still don't have a monthly payment to make each month! And we can enjoy while we work!!

Yep,no payments on this end either.I am going to keep it that way too.I wish I could have a pro do the remodel work for me at a dealer.I am learning as a go about RV's.But once it is done(LOL does that ever happen?),I can look back at it and be proud of what I have. It's mine and for me it's my first home that I own ever.

Good Night Dan,

Talk to you soon,

Gary

Thats why we can travel!! No payments!! I have a friend that bought a diesel pusher and is paying over 1500 an month! They have been to Alaska twice and for most of the last 7 years it has set! He can't seem to find anyone to buy it. I think they owe something like $160,000.00 They have it up for sale yet! Stuck with those big payments and they wanted to sale it to us?? Sorry!!!

I have been looking around from under the hood this month, And have been looking at this forum and another one I haunt. The feeling is that there is another good reason to rebuild a coach or whatever you want and Not by new as the prices have shot right thru the moon!! Is it me or did someone put gold in them rv's?? I was looking in the news paper and i see $100,000+ for a Class C??
Trailers are going for $40,000+? What happened??? I can't beleave they have gone up that much in a couple of years!! Is this happening across the country, or is it our sunny state that is doing this??
I was ,I guess lost in time under the hood and now that I have had some time to take a look around..Wow!!!
I would say that is a BIG reason to go used and fix them up!! I know a few that maybe could buy a top dollar rig, but Golly wow, Those shorter gas rigs are over $120,000!! I don't know about you but I will put another $4-$5000 and finish this one and hang on for dear life to it as if I had to replace it it would cost more than what i have in this one!! I would be looking for a less than fifteen year old to replace it money wise but that don't include the labor!!
I was wondering why so many had been doing this and if there was any doubt, Id say look at what they want at the dealers and after price shock, You see that old home and it somehow looks better than it did!! Any thoughts???
