So sorry to hear of your loss moving on can be so hard. Grievance counselors will tell you the sooner you take that step the better it will be. Hope you can again find joy in camping.

Dan, please accept my sincere condolences. She will be in my prayers I promise. I can fully understand and appreciate your inner emotions and feeling of loss. I lost my copilot Thanksgiving morning so I can relate. I can't say it's much easier since I'm currently in Yellowstone to scatter ashes in the Tetons. I do have my dog Charlie the Beagle but he doesn't say much and he's terrible at reading maps. Hang in there man and don't make any major decisions for a year.
