Alvin Weiberg

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Al Weiberg (Sportsman), one of our dedicated members from the Southeast Region and also a member of the Appalachian Campers camping club. Al passed away peacefully in his sleep sometime Wednesday morning, September 12.

My condolences go out to Barbara, his wife and to the rest of his family.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, at the Buladean Presbyterian Church in Buladean, NC.

I never knew Sportsman's legal last name but remember camping with him and reading his post. It feels like losing an old friend even though he would not recognize my face.
