Thank you everyone for your words.I am still in shock ,i find my self turning around to ask her something and she is not there. I am still in Ar but winter is coming,so i have to start moving south as the M/H is home.I am going to Ft Worth to spend Christmas with my 93 year old mother and brothers & sisters. After that i am not sure Tx coast maybe.I am a artist but i canceled all my spring shows.I think i will just hit the road south and see were it leads me.I will look for art shows along the way if they have a space i can rent, great if not that is fine also. As we had put lots of solar on roof i can dry camp .I have never been on the Tx coast in a M/H i have no reservations at any camp grounds hope i can find some with all the snow birds. One day at a time is all i can do at this point.
Again everyone thank you. CARP DIEM. Tim (aka-tagcat)

I am sorry for your loss.
I have been where you are right now. My first wife and I went full time and managed to travel for almost a year when cancer got the best of her. At the time we had a 5th wheel and I kept the 5th wheel and pretty much stayed in Florida where she had passed away. After nearly 2 years I unexpectedly got a call from my doctor after I had been in for a physical check up. This same doctor was the one that had been treating my wife. Anyway, she asked if I was seeing anyone (I wasn't) and if I would like to meet a lady. Said yes and was fixed up on a blind date. The rest is history. We were married just over a year later, and here we are today.
I guess the moral of this story is that things will get better. Don't be in a hurry and yes, life will go on.
I wish you the best of luck in the future.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Sincere condolences. I can't begin to appreciate what you must be going through. Hang in there. Maybe in some small way the RV community can offer friendship and comfort .

I wish I could say I don't know how you feel, because after all nobody can know how you feel less they have been there and done that. But alas. I do.

I choose to keep traveling.. Not as much fun doing it alone, but that is what I choose, till the motor decided otherwise, and once I get a new motor I'll go back on the road.

But I can tell you 3 years later I still miss my wife.. Prayers sent.

It sounds like you have had a lot going on sine your loss, as you say, life still keeps going...

I assume having a lot going on and to have kept traveling, I would think that could provide some ability to focus mentally on other things, rather then simply dwell on loneliness and sorrow.

Since you have had a year of continuing on with life, do you have any words of wisdom for others that are going through this now. I can think of at least one other iRV2 member that is moving forward after a recent loss...
