Great sadness

We were very new to the full time R/V life( 6 Months),but were having a great time.
It is with great sadness to let you know i lost my wife,lover,friend,co-pilot last saturday. Not sure that the travels will ever be the same with out her to share the sunsets, adventure, etc with.
We were able to make the rally at Myrtle Beach and meet a few of you wonderful people.

So sorry to hear of your loss.

However, she will still be there along side you as you watch those future sunsets. You'll feel her there.

Best Wishes,

Rick

So sorry for you. It truly will never be the same but someday you'll be able to look back at the memories and smile instead of crying.
Hang in there partner.

tagcat,
So sorry for your loss. Life will go on just remember the good times and make the best of what life has to offer.

On a lighter note. We reside just about 30 miles north of your last residence according to your signature. This may or may not be good but I am very good friends with your little towns current Mayor. We worked together in the same HS and Vocational department for about 20 years.

Been about a year and a half for me... They say time will improve how I feel.. Perhaps.. But I'm not yet ready to interview for a new partner (Start Dating).

My wife and I were so shocked and saddened when we found out. I started talking to tagcat on this forum. He was just buying his coach and looking for advice. We started talking and found out we only lived about 45 minutes away from them and went to see their coach when they got back with it. We suggested going on a short trip with them and spending some time camping about a 3 hour drive away to give them some experience and see how we did some things and compare some of the upgrades to our coach. We had a marvelous time had dinners together and enjoyed the trip immensely. They sold their home and were going to full time together with their first long trip to see her grandchildren in maine. I knew it was about time for them to come back to Arkansas and take care of some business and had told my wife we needed to schedule a trip to go see them. I was actually headed back to Arkansas on a business trip when he called and gave me the news. She was a really nice person and fun to be around. I know he is just devastated by what happened and hopefully when he has had time to absorb the shock he can get on with his life and live every day to the fullest. I believe she would want that for him.

My deepest, sincerest condolences, sir. Your wife looks like she had a beautiful, happy soul, and those are the memories I wish for you forever.
