Lee Litchfield

January 27, 1957 - July 11, 2013 EDMOND Lee was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He founded Lee's RV City at age 22, married Patricia Cagle and had four wonderful children, Preston, Brianna, Tiffany, and Parker. His memorial service will be held at 1p.m., August 3rd, at the Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond. In his honor, donations should be made to Parkview Adventist Academy in OKC for its worthy student program.

THANKS for posting this sad news, Dirk.

My condolences to Lee's family, he was a genuinely nice man-gone too soon.

Lee and I had become "internet acquaintances" from posting on the Newmarowners Yahoo group.

I emailed Lee for a quote when I was shopping for my Dutch Star, but I didn't buy from Lee and he eventually called me to ask if I had decided on a dealer. I told him I had bought from another dealer and he invited me to stop by and say Hi if I was ever out his way.

We spoke again when I was selling my DSDP and I gave it to him on consignment and he sold it.

Unfortunately, we never did get to meet in person.

He ran one of the best and most honest dealerships I have ever been around. I bought a fifth wheel from him(very used) just a few weeks after he bought his first dealership. I always found him to be honest and forthright. I never bought a motorhome from him but he did all of my service work. They were always snowed under but would work it in and get it fixed, almost always the first time. Really hated to see it sell to Camping World but not nearly as much as I hated to hear of his untimely passing.

Over 3 years ago, Lee posted a blog about the buying/selling/negotiating process. I bookmarked it & still refer to it, whether I'm in the market for an RV, a car or anything else that involves a trade. Great info.
