Peter Kendall member for several years. Passed away Sept.25th 2009. He lost the fight against lung cancer. He rarely posted anything but he was on the web site often.
I want to thank everyone that gave him a laugh or learned from the web site.
I have been off the forums since we left Normandy Farms in Foxboro Ma. in March. He was getting treatments at Mass. General and we spent the winter in our motor home. We returned to Florida where he continued to have treatments and passed away at home with our family at his bedside.
I miss him so much.
I am the driver and I plan on keeping our motor home. This is the first post I have done in months. I see the site has changed in looks and I don't even know if I am posting in the right space. I guess I will have to learn how to get around this one.
Anyway, I hope to post more often again and travel asap. I plan on going back to Maine in May with the MH. I know I will be asking a lot of questions in the future.
Thanks for letting me bend your ears and again for giving Peter things to keep him in good spirits during his illness. The three Amigo's made him laugh.
Happymi (not too happy right now)

Happymi...I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know there are no real words that we can communicate to you to take the pain you feel daily away - but it may help to come back to the forum and laugh at the Amigos and everything else...knowing it is also what Peter would be doing.
Take comfort here with your RV family. We will be here to bring you smiles and support at all hours of the day.
Sincerely,
Becky

Happmi,
We know what it is like to lose someone and to keep on traveling. It has happened to us twice while traveling. I guess you already know there is a great support group here, and it is a good group to associate with either online, or at the national Reunion or a regional rally when you feel ready.

Thank all of you for your comforting words. I was having great trouble getting signed in but with the help of some great people on this site they have me rolling again.
I plan on hitting the road asap, would like to meet up with you at a rally along the way.
Thanks again
Happymi
