I'm not sure when the construction will be done, but just now the Ambassador bridge is likely not your best choice.. The Tunnel (Of course I don't know about RV's in the tunnel (Propane restrictions) or the Blue Water Bridge (About an hour out of town) are good bets.

For me.. I have alternate routing but ... I'm not sure even I'd wish to use the Ambassador this year

Snow right here in the banana belt!!! Poor visibility on the drive up to London and back this aft due to...SNOW...

Hard to believe, but last year we had snow flurries on April 16th. Will be glad when this Global Warming thing starts..............

Update

We went Southbound on March 12 and Northbound on April 9 over the Ambassador Bridge and No issues with getting thru Customs or thru the construction!!

We used the route as suggested by CAA which was easy to follow and well signed.
There is a little more detouring NB but easily doable with The coach and towed.
