Found a GOOD camp ground or park. Please go to CG reviews area, let the rest of members hear about the parks in your area. Provide a picture if you have one.
I have posted a few that I liked

Will work on adding a review for every CG that I stay or have stayed at. I find information like that very hard to find.

I actually hesitated about booking a site at one spot due to reading a bad review. Gave it a drive by before deciding to officially not stay there.

If properly used it could make a good resource for travellers. I know I try to look for reviews when I travel.

Exactly Kid. A good reason to offer this C/G review Forum. If we find really good parks, members should be made aware of where the are, rates, amenities, etc
By the same token it helps,as in your case, to know where the "not" so nice parks are.

Brad,

I tried to post a campground review of our favorite Canadian RV park, (WWW.Alderbayresort.com) a couple of years ago and for some reason or another it would not let me post. We go to Alder Bay (north end of Vancouver Island just south of Port McNeil) about every 3 years or so. It is a great place!!!! I consider it to be the Best Value and deal on the Island. I would strongly advise to get reservations at least a year in advance for the popular fishing times -- Mid July thru Mid August. They have a great marina, excellent 2 lane concrete launch, good convenience store, laundry facilities, hot showers, fish cleaning stations, Freezing for fish, and whale watching/touring outfitters pickup at their dock. The place is very family oriented, CLEAN and well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, and best of all it is quiet except for the eagles that nest in the trees. In a Nutshell -- We Highly Recommend It!!!

If you understand a bit of French, the Web du Campeur is a web site for users to leave their comments on campgrounds visited.

Been checking out the site and came across this thread. Anyone given any thought to the fact that by sharing the location of good campgrounds, you may be creating a situation where YOU might have problems getting a site because it is now so popular?

Hello j_m : I Have thought of this myself. Thing is, everyone deserves to have a pleasant stay in a nice campground. If I'm not there using it, someone else might as well be. If we look after these parks, clean up when we leave, we can all come away with good memories and experiances of our visits back to nature.
When I originally started this thread, it was more to notify members of campgrounds along the way. Its good to know that after a long day on the road, there is a good campground, just around the cornor where you can put your feet up for the night, and relax in a safe, clean campground. If anyone finds a site that really made an impression on them, I encourage them to post in the Campground Review section.. let everyone know of your discovery.

Hello Brad. The concept of encouraging what I call high density usage via endorsement applies to other areas too such as good fishing locations, golf courses, etc. Results: fishing holes trashed and inability to get desired tee-off times. In the spirit of camping however, I shall pass along two campgrounds and see what happens. 1. The Sault Ste. Marie KOA. One of the best of all that we have stayed at. 2. The community campground at Gull Lake. SK.
