Hi. They can take your vehicle if found with weapons or drugs. Sometimes we see them in Calgary at the vehicle auctions. Please reconsider and have a great time when you are here!

Arrogant? nope, Lectures? nope, I think everyone was alarmed that you would even think about smuggling a gun into Canada. Especially a handgun, those are reserved especially for criminals no one else has them. Not declaring it would be smuggling by definition.

When to Alaska last year. Took a 30.06 and forty rounds. Cost me $25.00 Canadian,NO Dollars. You have to get paper work from the Canadian web site. No shotguns with a hand gripe. I took bear spray, Make sure it says BEAR SPRAY. Call and talk to the people in Canada they are very helpful.
