There are times for chat, I agree, but you don't see a person typing, just that it seems to take awhile for someone to reply, which could always be disruptions from others.

I've found chat can consume time like it's going out of style and tend to stay away from it, unless I really need it.

Right now it takes a different e-mail than I use here.

Lynne

Well Lynne...Its "what ever floats your boat" If you want to talk one on one, thats they way to do it. I learned more about the members I chatted with in five minutes, than I ever would in the forums, simply because you tend to converse more. Maybe some people type faster than others, no prob, how long do you wait for a reply in the forums? Chat takes much less time for a reply, even from the "two finger typists" I personally think chat is a great tool. and can only make a persons typing skills better.....Brad

The fire-side chat is every Wednesday night at 2100 (9PM). There were up to 8 of us last week. Just got new software, works well. Your right, about getting to know others all over US and Can.and it has been a very friendly chat room. No special topic, weather and RVs mostly.
