Hi Willyum

From what I read you're most ready to get your liberty. I had mine for 13 years now. Wish you and yours VERY HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

WillYum, You're up so early I can't see what your weather is, unless I go look here.

Showers or flurries, that's close to our Monday forecast.

What have you heard about the TT lately?

As for me one of Christmas presents for me came in on Friday, Kevin Major's House of Wooden Santas with CDs. It starts with Dec. 1, 24 days until Christmas, so I have some catching up to do. But I still haven't ordered the pups Christmas, reflective collars.

How many more Christmas presents to get for you all?

& did all Canuck pet people put in a vote for pets up in General Discussion up top?

Are there any special smiley's coming for Xmas?

Hey, what craft does Novi do?

As for LK, well LK is a bit of a diy. I have a carpentry project near to happening - framing up the basement which was added to after the house was raised a few years ago and adding another layer of insulation.

But then you see I also sew and knit, which includes canvas and sunbrella, BTW.

& Brad, well we know Brad is a Deere man, don't we. How's the Deere, Brad?

Deere is fine. You know the saying...nothing runs like..... I also like to "water" garden, as well as flower and landscape gardening.
Have been thinking 'bout doing some "painting again", kinda quit when the kids were young, now their gone, might get back into it. Lots to do.....

Have been known to disappear into the woods on a moment's notice. I enjoy hearing the silence.

Brad, please define 'garden' to me. I use lawn and yard for green space around the house. Some people here use garden to include all green space on a property. How imprecise can you get!! I'd like to tell toddlers to stay out of the garden please. I've heard parents of toddlers say: "stay in the garden". and more

So, which definition of garden do you mean?

I do veg. gardens. Bulbs too because they don't need care.

Roadrunners, Since you do photography and stained glass, would you be so kind as to post a picture or so of your stained glass, please.

LK, in Britian, as you know, the term "garden" usually means grassy area as well as "bed" gardens. I use the term "lawn" for grass, and "garden" for bedding plants/ veggie gardens. I also "water" garden which is,building ponds and growing plants associated with pond life. The introduction of Gold Fish/Koi to the pond make for a most relaxing area of the yard.

Brad........

I do lead cam stained glass, like the ones you see in church windows. My wife does the other kind, which is soldered and I do not know the word in English. Sometime ago my son gave me a one day course as a present.

It began when I would design projects and then eased into it. It is a fun thing and a great supply of Band-Aids is necessary LOL. There is a very nice stained glass shop in Kingston, Ont. The people are really there to help you and they give all kinds of courses. It is right in town, I believe on Princess St.

Only problem with stained glass projects is that you make more and more and you can't sell it, so you wind up like me, making a stained glass window for my mother-in-law shed out back.

I enjoy it and enjoy the shows and getting different ideas as each region seems to have another trick or presentation. One place I saw in the Adirondacks had mixed stained glass with mirrors. Pretty neat. We visit craft shows and shops all over the place.

We have three windows beside main entrance door, we wanted to do in stained glass. The window over the door is an Eliptical window, which may cost a few bucks to do or have done. Just wondering if it would be worth having someone do it, or learn the art and do it my self? I wanted to just affix the stained glass over the existing glass, not replace it..?
