Collecting along the way

When you travel, is there something you collect...salt&pepper shakers, match books, beer steins etc. I personally collect hand made(carved) boats, ships, light houses etc.(made locally) Yes Little Kopit, I have a NL dory, painted yellow with green trim. Got that treasure in Cape Ray.....

I'm more apt to get things for gifts.

In Harbour Breton I once picked up a craft which was essentially a whole bunch of stamps mounted on wood with the artistic lettering 'got to get me stamps.' The only person I dared give it too was my boss of the time.

& in case anyone doesn't get that, 'get me stamps' means have in enough weeks of work to collect unemployment when it is needed, especially when doing seasonal work.
