Crossing at Buffalo/ Niagara

We are heading out to Halifax via Boston soon and for the life of me I can't recall which crossing was the easier/less travelled from Canada. The 5th and diesel are traded so this trip is just by car while we await the F150 on order. Any suggestions welcomed.

I would cross the border with the least traffic. Call toll free 1-800-715-6722 and then #2 for traffic reports. Its automated and updated at the top of the hour.

Just last month we crossed over at the International Bridge (Not the Peace Bridge) and then traveled across to Port Huron through Sarnia. I was concerned because another traveler had stated information concerning backlog of traffic at the crossing point. It turned out to be of no concern, but then, we crossed around 10:00-10:30 a.m., no traffic, and an easy entry into Canada. We picked up the QEW (Hwy-2) highway and the road was wonderful.

The Lewiston Bridge is probably the shortest, but we have almost always crossed at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo.
There is a web site you can actually see the traffic on the Peace bridge.

Second the Lewiston Queenston bridge. Have crossed all of them many a times and that one seems to be the quickest except during construction times.
