Our snow fun doesn't start until about Christmas tree cutting time - usual 1st snow outing with the pups. That should be Dec. 17 this year.

So, Roadrunners, 10.54 years since you all retired, eh?

808 days until retirement and deducting........

South of Orlando from the I-4 corridor to Tampa is filled to capacity for campers. The majority of county parks in the southern areas are devastated from the winds. It is taking a long time and a slow process to get things back to normal. Reservations are being ignored leaving many a camper without a place to stay for the winter.
Many of the parks have been bought up for FEMA trailers and also the support folks that come in after a disaster.
Do not venture into the southern areas without confimation of a campground.

The campground I previously referred to in Milton Ontario is,

Milton Heights Campground
1690 Tremaine Road
Milton, Ontario
L9T 2X7 Canada
Phone: (1800) 308-9120
(905) 878-6781

Kind of forgot that Roadrunner, but then I try to forget anything to do with that white stuff.

Temperature hovering right around 0 last couple of days. We have been 'promised' a big dump of snow very soon so maybe we will take some of the load off you this year.

444 days till freedom

I start sweating the minute I see that stuff getting close. Being born in Beaverlodge, Alberta you would think I would like to see it coming but I was raised south of the border in Oregon and have web feet from all that rain. Flat web feet just slip around on that white slippery stuff.

443 day till freedom
