From what I understand the re-do of the bridge approach is finished.. Can't say much more than that... You might check with Metro Traffic (Use the web) or michigan Department of Transportation MDOT - Michigan Department of Transportation

They should have decent info on all but backups

Alas, if they tell you there is a back up the bridge authority will sue them

A few days ago we heard on the news, that the Bridgecrossing is in private hands and the Canadian Government wants to buy it....
for 1.5 Billion, but the owner wants 3.0 Billion....!
Good luck

The bridge crossing has always been in private hands (The Detroit-Windosor Bridge Authority) and both the authority and the Windsor Transportation dept (The rumored buyer) deny any sale is beind discussed.... Of course .... They would.... I'm sure.

Just so you know.... But they both officially deny any negotations or discussion or offer or asking price.

Source of denial info.. Click On Detroit | Detroit News, Detroit, Michigan News, Weather, Sports Online | WDIV Local 4 news tab

Just passed thru last week and no issues!!!

They do put you on north bound I75 for about 1\2 mile til you go to off ramp and access south bound I75.

What about north bound? Have they done anything to improve that tight right turn after exiting I-75 to enter onto the bridge proper or do you still get run into the concrete by those garbage scows piloted by guys wearing turbans and flip-flops?
