It's time to do the brakes on my t.t
Brakes are weak even with controler turn all the way up. Pads look O.k drums look fine I think it's the magnets??
Any advise and where is the best price
I live in Oakville just west of Toronto

If you look at the bottom of the brakes there is an adjustment star. These are not self adusting. You have to run it out till they lock up and then back it off a little till they don't drag. Hope that helps.

Thanks for responding. I have tried that already and it does not help,so I am thinking magnets.

Thanks for the info. I will be checking my brakes and bearings soon myself. Didn't know about the brake adjusters.

You may do better trying a place like Miska Trailer sales as they often offer the entire kit of Drum, backer plate, shoes, bearings, seals, magnets and all other stuff for around $69-$79 per wheel.

I also replaced my axles under a previous trailer with 2 of heavier rating from Princess Auto.

Sometimes Princess Auto puts the kits on sale for about $60 but not consistently...worth a look though if there is one nearby.
