I hear it's nice. Haven't been there personally although my kids want to try it out. But we live just 10 minutes from there, LOL. May go there for a tour to see what it's like.

Hey Joe: If you do make the tour, I would appreciate hearing your opinion. Need a place to stay at end of Sept,... or will this park be closed then?

I'll see if I can swing by this weekend. I curious myself. The Ontario Parks Reservation website should state the parks season open and close dates I think. For conviences Alliston is about 2-3 mins. east of the park and you can find almost anything.

COuldn't make it today. Will try tomorrow since I have to go to Alliston to find o-rings for the trailer faucet to repair the leaks. In the meantime, hope this helps a bit.

Stopped by on Sunday. They wanted a $10 deposit to just go look around for up to 1/2hr and you'd get it back but I didn't have the cash. They did say that most sites are treed though. I picked up their park paper with the map and what they have there. Looks like the Labour day weekend is the last weekend they are open though. Paper states the gates are closed on the Sept. 5th.

We stayed at Earl Rowe in September after school was in.

We stayed in Fletchers Field and had site #215 I think and it was a nice large site.

We also stayed in Heydon Way, site #89 and liked that side as well.

Alliston is just a hop skip and jump from the park and has everything you need.

We went looking in the spring for campsites and were not charged anything to look, probably because it was off season.

Hope this helps.
