Nova Scotia has a reputation for clam digging and clam meals can be to die for.

Now do you mean going out and catching lobster? I have to admit that is a new one on me.

I don't know where you are, so I'll assume that I should suggest that you go to google.ca, click on pages from Canada and use these words "lobster boat tours Newfoundland". There I found the idea of doing a boat tour in a former lobster boat!!!

& I'll mention that Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism has a build it yourself feature, which I've been told has the most information anywhere.

Hmmm,

well, don't let my current locale fool you. I am actually fairly knowledgeable about Nova Scotia destinations.

My simplest recommendation is that you could go to the Annapolis Valley. There is a waterfront campground near Annapolis Royal, which is on the Digby Gut on the Bay of Fundy side of of Nova Scotia(clam digging is nearby-thats where I get my feed when I go there). There are other campgrounds near there, and if this is what you are interested in, let me know and I can phone the sis-in-law that lives near there for info.

That area of NS has Upper Clements Park, a wildlife park, and is close to Kedji (can't think of the proper spelling) Provincial Park. It is also only a few hours away from Historical and educational places like Peggys cove, Lunenburg, and Halifax.

Not sure exactly what you have in mind,(or how far you want to go, how much time etc) but I lived out there from 97-01, have plenty of friends all over out there, and expect to be moving back there summer 06. So, I think I can help. Let me know.
