Good morning fellow Canucks. Wondering if anyone has read the book "Full-Time RVing in Canada"? the only guide to full-timing in Canada*|* Full-Time RVing in Canada
I just finished it and found it to be very helpful. In particular for snowbirds and full timers was the section on provincial health coverage issues. I had no idea that you loose coverage if out of a province for several months, and that each province has different rules about it! Does anyone else have Canadian specific facts that affect full timers or snowbirds?
Canadian camping trivia question - Who said..."There's all kinds of places, but the place we like to get, is up on the highway in the gravel pits"? LOL
Cheers

Well done. You get 5 out of 10 points for knowing it was a Newfoundlander, and I'll throw in another 2 points for being in the CF. (I would've given ya 3 if you were Airforce!) LOL just kidding. I got family in the Navy.
Cheers

My guess would have been Newfoundland as well, been there and seen it. In all our travels the biggest mistake we made was not allowing enough time to explore Newfoundland. What a place! the people are fantastic, the scenery is outstanding. We where only there about 10 days and I think maybe 30 days would be more appropriate. If I was asked where I'd like to return to if given the opportunity it would be Newfoundland in a heartbeat.

I think the words are from a song by 'Buddy Wassisname and the The Other Fellers' who are of course from Newfoundland. If you ever get te chance take in one of their shows go for it.

yes, it seems that many folks do not realize that health is not "Canadian" but rather "Provincial": while provinces receive transfer payments from Ottawa, each province has their own rules & regulations.

Well done! Every time I listen to it I want to go camping. If I'm camping when I listen to it, I want to go home to Newfoundland.

Well, it looks like this thread has come to an end. I originally meant to talk about Full-timing, but it turned into a music quiz. LOL
So to finish it off in style, please visit this Youtube link to see a rusty video of someones TV, playing the hilarious video of the song called "The Pits" by Buddy Wasisname and The Other Fellers". Enjoy!
