Any fellow Canucks fulltiming? If you don't mind me asking, do you have a residence still or sell it? What did you do for an address for taxes, licensing, mail, etc. if you sold your primary residence? We have sold our house (haven't closed yet) and are thinking of fulltiming because my business is on the road (a lot in the US thankfully during winter time).
I do have the choice of 'working' in the US on a temporary visa (TN) however really would like to keep my Canuck roots and eventually buy a home out on Vancouver Island.

Thanks,
Kyle

Guess there aren't too many Full timers from Canada Kyle.
I'm not sure but I think you need a general delivery or box office address.

If any one has an idea how this works, Please let us know....Brad

Hi, I saw your question posted earlier and did not respond because I am not a full timer. I figured others would jump in. However several friends have been full time RVers. They used a friends or relatives address as their home address for license renewal, income tax and mail delivery. I do not know if this is legal?? especially since 9-11. I did read where that type of arrangement was not acceptable any more but that may have been in the US not Canada. And that's all I know, good luck.

We have just started our sixth year of fulltiming and still loving the lifestyle...
We sold our home in southern Ontario and never looked back....However,we do spend time in summer in the same area for doctor and dental appts.etc.
The fulltimer lifestyle is actually easier than we anticipated...We use a relative's address, and they forward our mail to us monthly, both in Canada and US...We do telephone banking...and that is super easy....
We know several canadian fulltimers, and meet more and more as we travel....
Any questions...Just ask....
